UNIFORM​: New Scouts can wear their cub uniform (if they were a cub) or casual clothes, but should purchase a Scout shirt at some point prior to investiture.  New Scouts should continue to wear their green and black Cub necker (Scouts wear the same). 
BADGES:  See the diagrams opposite for badge placement, a full guide is shown here. Badges can be sewn (preferred) or attached with badge glue.
INVESTITURE: takes place during their first term, they should choose a Scout Promise (below) that aligns with their beliefs. We usually conduct the ceremony somewhere quirky.
