NEW SCOUTS
Uniform: New Scouts can wear their cub uniform (if they were a cub) or casual clothes, but should purchase a Scout shirt at some point prior to investiture. They should continue to wear their 108th Pentland Cub necker if they have one, otherwise we will supply this. Investiture: Takes place during their first term, they can choose a Scout Promise. We usually conduct the ceremony somewhere quirky. |

NECKER FRIENDSHIP KNOT
This knot is often used by Scouts to secure the neckerchief instead of a woggle, especially at camp (where woggles can be lost). The linking of the two sides of the neckerchief represent the bond of friendship. Scouts can wear their patrol woggle (and other woggles) above the knot on one side. |
